Conference Theme:

  • Integrated use of silicon in crop production

Conference Objectives:

  • To recognize the importance of silicon to agriculture.
  • To identify situations in crop production that are limited by silicon deficiencies.
  • To determine rate and timing of silicon application on plant function.
  • To determine the mechanisms of silicon uptake and function.
  • To demonstrate the role of silicon in crop protection.
  • To increase interest in silicon research.
